No. All stories in the Rucksack Universe are intended to interweave yet stand alone. You can come to the series from any story and read the series in whatever order you want. If it helps, here are 2 recommended reading orders.

Currently all Rucksack Universe novels and novellas are released as ebooks and trade paperbacks, and all Rucksack Universe stories are released as ebooks. During 2019 I’ll be releasing all current book titles in hardcover, large-print, and mass-market paperback. I’ll announce new formats, translations, and other releases here on this site, in my email list, on Instagram, and on Patreon. Subscribe to your preferred channel so you don’t miss the news. And remember: Patrons get access to new titles before anyone else!

My books are available wherever print books and e-books are sold, including Amazon, Kobo, Apple iBooks, Smashwords, and more. My books are also distributed by Ingram, the world’s largest book distributor, so you can order any of my books through your favorite bookstore.
