May 2019 Patron-only craft beer review

Some beers you enjoy. Some beers you forget. Some beers you can’t stand. And sometimes a beer blows your mind.

From the heart of Oregon Coast cheese country, De Garde Brewing’s wild ales are some of the most distinctive on the market today. That’s especially the case with beers such as their Kriek Première, made with cherries—and does it show.

I CANNOT get over how much was going on in this beer. There’s cherry. There’s funk. There’s leather. My only regret is we didn’t have an amazing cheese on hand to go with it.

Let’s explore this amazing beer.
